Ingredients:
2 pounds fish
2 C of long-grained rice
2-¼ C onion, chopped coarsely
8 C heated water
1 tbsp. fresh garlic, minced
½ C green pepper, chopped
½ C virgin olive oil
4 C tomato juice
3 black lemons,sliced in half
1 tsp. curry powder, divided
1 tsp. turmeric
salt to taste

1. Put fish with ½ tsp. curry in saucepan with enough water to cover and bring it to a boil.
2. In the meantime, fry onion and garlic in skillet.
3. When fish is tender, remove from saucepan and debone. Set aside and discard water.
4. Add tomato juice, green peppers, remaining curry, turmeric, rice, hot water, garlic, onions, and lemons to saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens.
5. Once mixture is thickened, cover saucepan and reduce heat to a simmer.
6. When rice is cooked, remove from heat and serve.
