Ingredients:
2 C seedless dates
1-½ C white flour
2 large eggs
1 C whole milk
4 oz melted butter
¾ C granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 C unsalted walnuts
1 C chopped almonds

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Put milk, 2 C dates, eggs, butter, and sugar in blender until fully mixed.
3.. Add walnuts to mixture and blend again until walnuts are thoroughly mixed in with other ingredients.
4. Pour blended ingredients into a greased cake pan.
5. Let stand 15 minutes.
6. Bake in oven ro 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. While cake is baking, prepare sauce by blending 1 C dates with 2 C hot water until totally smooth.
8. Strain the water out of the mixture.
9. Cool cake on rack.
10. When cool, pour sauce over cake.
11. Garnish with walnuts.
