3 cups Semolina Flour
1½ cup white flour plus 1 tbsp
1 tbsp Turmeric
1 cup vegetable oil
1½ cups white sugar
2 cups milk
1 tbsp baking powder
3/4 cup slivered almonds

1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. In a large bowl, mix the sugar and the milk. Add the oil and mix briefly.
3. Add the dry ingredients (e.g. the flour, the turmeric, and the baking
powder) and mix thoroughly.
4. Grease the baking dish and sprinkle the almonds on the bottom.
5. Scoop the batter onto the pan and bake for approximately 30
minutes, or until golden-brown.
6. Cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
